The group said it targeted the camp in northern Israel using a "swarm of drones". Israeli censorship rules prevent media outlets saying exactly where or what was targeted, but some media outlets say the location was hit by a low-level drone launched from Lebanon - a relatively unsophisticated weapon that appears not to have activated early warning alarms. Footage carried by Israeli media showed those wounded being helped into emergency vehicles, including helicopters. Israeli media reported that 67 people have been injured - with four in a critical condition and five others seriously wounded. Many of the wounded have been evacuated to Hillel Yaffe Medical Centre in nearby Hadera - with others being taken to hospitals in Tel Hashomer, Haifa, Afula and Netanya.

Hezbollah chief Nasrallah says Israel should be 'scared' of all-out war

Al Jazeera

Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah has issued a stern warning to Israel, threatening a war with "no restraint and no rules and no ceilings" in case of a major Israeli offensive against Lebanon. "All what the enemy says and the threats and warnings the mediators bring – and what is being said in the Israeli media – about a war in Lebanon does not scare us," Nasrallah said in a speech via video feed. Israeli strikes Iranian targets in Syria to prevent drone attack

The Japan Times

JERUSALEM – The Israeli Air Force struck in Syria to prevent an Iranian force from launching an attack on the Jewish state with drones armed with explosives, the army said Sunday. While Israel operates regularly in Syria, it rarely acknowledges its actions so swiftly, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warning archfoe Iran it had no immunity from his state's military. In a briefing to reporters, military spokesman Jonathan Conricus said that late Saturday the air force "was able to thwart an Iranian attempt led by the Quds force from Syria to conduct an attack on Israeli targets in northern Israel using killer drones." According to Conricus, the Israeli attack took place in Aqraba, southeast of Damascus, and targeted "a number of terror targets and military facilities belonging to the Quds force as well as Shiite militias." The army had on Thursday prevented an earlier attempt to launch the drone attack, Conricus said, without providing further details.

Relics found on the seabed of the Mediterranean close to the site of a 5000-year-old port

Daily Mail - Science & tech

Scuba diving archaeologists are scouring the seabed where a gas pipeline is being built off Israel's coast in a bid to preserve ancient relics. The area lies near a 5,000-year-old port which once was a key trade hub for the Mediterranean's ancient civilisations. Scientists say the vestiges of marine traders throughout the ages - from the Phoenicians to the Romans - lie hidden beneath the seabed at the port of Dor. They have already found earthenware jugs, anchors and the remains of wrecked ships, setting new guidelines for similar future projects.
